Mediator Qualifications

In addition to participating in mediations and settlement conferences with clients, I have extensive formal training in conflict resolution. 

In 2005, I attended the University of Utah Conflict Resolution Certificate Program. This program is a two semester intensive training program that provides over 100 hours of actual negotiation and conflict resolution experience. Each phase of the process is overseen by highly skilled, experienced mediators who provide individual feedback. This intense and individualized training process allows for students to truly analyze the philosophies of negotiation and investigate diverse methods for resolving the toughest situations.

To further my conflict resolution training, I also completed the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business Executive Certificate in Negotiation Program.  This intensive training program offered by one of the top business programs in the country, consists of three eight-week courses, Negotiation, Advanced Negotiation and Conflict Management.  The courses are specifically geared toward business negotiations and conflict resolution in business settings.
